The Hygiene Operative works as part of the phase 1 or 2/3 teams. Responsible for routine hygiene for all production operations, as well as defined tasks in each department.
Main Duties
- Routine hygiene of all equipment and work areas at all key stages of the process
- Washing tunnels, floors and buildings to a specified standard
- Washing tunnel nets
- Cleaning of phase 1 hoving line
- Manually opening and closing tunnel doors
- Connecting tunnel nets
- Application of mushroom spawn
- Maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations

- Have a flexible approach to work
- Be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Be conscientious with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and with the ability to work in a team
Experience and Qualifications
- Good level of spoken English
- Relevant experience in an agricultural business is desirable but not essential
