About MOMO Kombucha

We are on a mission to produce the UK's best-tasting and highest quality kombucha. To achieve that we brew the traditional way and leave our kombucha raw and unfiltered for a fuller depth of flavour. Plus, we’re certified organic: better for you and better for the environment. With every bottle of MOMO, we hope to inspire people to live healthier and more connected lives. We’re a proud B Corp and featured on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list in 2024 and 2025. You’ll find MOMO in Ocado, Riverford, GAIL’s, Planet Organic, Whole Foods Market, and over 1,200 independents.

The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join MOMO Kombucha at a pivotal stage of growth as we scale to become the UK’s favourite kombucha. You’ll play a hands-on role at the heart of our brewing operation, helping to produce exceptional kombucha while upholding the highest standards of hygiene, record keeping and health & safety. With the kombucha category poised for long-term growth - driven by gut health, low sugar and alcohol alternatives - this is a chance to build your career in a sector where the best is yet to come.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare and carry out complete brews from start to tank for final packaging, ensuring consistency and quality at every stage.
  • Carry out CIP (Clean-In-Place) processes across brewing equipment and tanks to maintain a hygienic, production-ready environment.
  • Brew kombucha in line with established recipes and SOPs, maintaining attention to detail and record keeping.
  • Ensure all production tasks are carried out in accordance with SALSA standards.
  • Conduct routine testing of brews using in-house laboratory equipment (e.g. pH, Brix, etc.) to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the production facility.
  • Support wider production and compliance activities as required, working collaboratively with the team to keep operations running smoothly. Whilst this is a brewing role, you may be required to help out on the packaging line from time to time.

What you’ll bring

  • A positive, can-do attitude and genuine enthusiasm for hands-on production work.
  • Prior experience in a brewery or food/drink manufacturing environment, including following SOPs and carrying out CIP processes to a high standard.
  • Strong attention to detail and the discipline to maintain accurate records and consistently high-quality output.
  • A commitment to exceptional cleanliness and hygiene. Diligent cleaning is fundamental to producing great kombucha and maintaining a sanitary brewing environment.
  • An understanding of, and respect for, food safety standards; experience working within SALSA (or similar) frameworks is desirable.
  • A passion for kombucha and fermentation, and ideally an affinity with the MOMO brand and what we’re building.
  • The ability to work methodically and collaboratively in a fast-paced, growing business where standards matter and quality comes first.

What you’ll get

  • Annual salary: £29,250
  • Quarterly bonus scheme + share options
  • Early finish Fridays, or similar
  • £250 annual wellness budget
  • 1 volunteer day per year (paid)
  • 26 days’ holiday, plus 1 extra day every two years (up to 30 days)
  • Work with a B Corp that donates 1% of revenue to charity and is committed to improving its impact every year
