About MOMO Kombucha
We are on a mission to produce the UK's best-tasting and highest quality kombucha. To achieve that we brew the traditional way and leave our kombucha unfiltered for a fuller depth of flavour. Plus, we’re certified organic: better for you and better for the environment. With every bottle of MOMO, we hope to inspire people to live healthier and more connected lives. We’re a proud B Corp and featured on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list in 2024 and 2025. You’ll find MOMO in Ocado, Riverford, GAIL’s, Planet Organic, Whole Foods Market, and over 1,200 independents. Founded in 2018, we’ve grown rapidly and are now preparing to scale over the next five years, to become the UK’s favourite kombucha. The kombucha category is set to explode and poised for many decades of structural growth driven by three mega trends: 1) gut health; 2) low sugar; and 3) alcohol alternatives. In our view it is where craft beer was in the UK 15 years ago.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our small but growing Business Development & Marketing team as we scale MOMO across grocery, convenience, cafes, wholesale, on-trade and corporate channels. You’ll get hands-on experience across sales, brand and marketing, learning the ropes of what it takes to grow a challenger food and drinks brand from the inside. This is a role with real responsibility from day one and a genuine opportunity to grow with the business. You’ll start with understanding who our customers are, what they need, and how MOMO can show up brilliantly for them. Over time, you’ll take on more ownership across the sales pipeline, brand-building activities and trade marketing.
What you’ll do
- Grow sales in a range of channels
- Building and maintaining relationships across all channels.
- Identifying opportunities and actioning leads.
- Account management for our wholesalers.
- Reporting your progress weekly and building case studies to measure success.
- You’ll get on the road for regional sales and brand activation trips a few times a year.
You’ll be a brand ambassador and help grow MOMO in our top customers
- Running tasting sessions and in-store activations, making sure MOMO looks great on shelf.
- Deliver kombucha training to customer-facing teams so they can share what makes MOMO special.
- Represent us at trade shows and events, bringing enthusiasm and energy wherever MOMO shows up.
Supporting our community and PR activities
- Helping organise community and press events.
- Liaising with suppliers to produce high quality POS material and distributing them across key accounts.
Because we’re a rapidly growing small business, everyone at MOMO contributes beyond their core role. This might include supporting our production or operations teams or pitching in on seasonal tasks like writing Christmas cards. While not always the most glamorous work, it’s part of a culture where everyone, from the founders down, rolls up their sleeves. We’d expect the same from you.
What you’ll bring
- A proactive, driven mindset
- Confidence with strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivation and entrepreneurial spirit
- Passion for MOMO and the food and drink space
- Positive, high-energy, and professional attitude
What you’ll get
- Salary £29,250
- Quarterly bonus scheme + share options
- Early finish Fridays
- £250 annual wellness budget
- 1 volunteer day per year (paid)
- 26 days’ holiday, plus 1 extra day every two years (up to 30 days)
- Work with a B Corp that donates 1% of revenue to charity and is committed to improving its impact every year
Our values
- Act with Gratitude
- Brew a Healthy Culture
- Live Unfiltered
- Grow Together
