HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Production Manager for our Global Programmes vertical, you will be working at the sharp end of our agency’s creative workflow. You will be responsible for the process that brings our ideas into the physical world and for providing the technical guidance and commercial rigour that help our ideas flourish. Reporting to the Production Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of live, virtual and hybrid conferences taking place across the globe. Working in close collaboration with our creative and business leadership teams in multiple markets, and alongside both our clients and internal and external technical partners, you will occupy a position of trust and authority with the agency.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • A positive, honest and open communicator, you’ll have a passion for corporate events and a natural curiosity for technology, innovation and design.
  • Experience and competence in traditional event production disciplines such as: set design & custom fabrication; structures & staging; materials & finishes; print techniques, logistics & trucking.
  • A working understanding of technical production disciplines such as AV, lighting & rigging and streaming and virtual platforms.
  • Excellent supplier knowledge / black book in the above areas, covering multiple markets.
  • A commercially driven professional, you’ll have excellent financial acumen, numeracy and negotiation skills and you’ll have effortlessly managed complex budgets of varying sizes.
  • Demonstrable aptitude for learning and adopting new technologies in relation to content creation and broadcast.
  • Health and Safety conscious, you’ll hold an IOSH certification and have a good working understanding of our obligations under CDM 2015.
  • The ability to create and interpret CAD drawings and floorplans.
  • Comfortable in client briefings, client meetings, mediating client change requests, and managing client expectations as required.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide thought leadership and drive exceptional delivery standards on all elements of event pre-production and onsite operations.
  • Diligently deliver your assigned projects to time, cost and quality.
  • Collaborate well & build internal and external relationships.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities, through a production lens, to innovate and inspire.
  • Meticulously manage your budgets, projects, documentation and deliverables.
  • Work in lockstep with the experience design team to create and update CAD drawings allowing us to understand design requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Be an SME in your field; fostering confidence, collaboration and trust amongst your colleagues in all departments of the agency.
  • Ensure safety and compliance by creating risk assessments, method statements and event safety plans.
  • Provide leadership and accountability during the onsite phase of your assigned projects and lead teams of contractors and suppliers during build, live and de-rig.
  • Provide pitch support and own pre-production planning.
  • Create, support and refine internal processes to increase the quality and efficiency of our output.
