The Data Science and Measurement team has three core responsibilities focused on delivering incremental client impact now and in the future through effective analytics and applied Data Science solutions:
- Measurement Suite – a range of increasingly connected measurement solutions (e.g. MMM, Attribution and Incrementality testing) designed to support clients and agency partners make optimized investment decisions from a strategic level all the way through to a more tactical level to deliver incremental ROI.
- Planning Suite – Omni platform makes a dynamic optimization tool available for 100+ markets across the world, enabling planners to define budgets based on any client campaign brief.
- Propensity modelling and activation – building and deploying algorithms that ensure clients can reach their KPIs and targets in an automated, streamlined way.
- Applied AI solutions – build custom agents to help make results more accessible and processes more streamlined.
The structure of the team is in three hubs, each focusing on a specific role in delivering great work to clients:
- Client success hub: Deliver client success via Advanced Analytics solutions for our global clients.
- Technical capabilities hub: Support capabilities for local markets, regional agencies and clients across the region.
- Research and Innovation hub: Develop solutions for the region's clients and agencies, in collaboration with markets and global teams.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The role is a rare opportunity to be right at the forefront of media and brand analytics, leveraging a leading global platform and Data Science team to aid the biggest marketers with game-changing solutions around the measurement, optimisation and planning of media. You will help the biggest brands in the industry with understanding the value of their media, define their optimal media plan, and feed insights straight into their media buying strategies.
You will:
- Impress clients by working on client engagements, helping run analysis to understand media impact and custom projects on how to optimise media plans to maximise a client's KPI.
- Facilitate best-in-class solutions, ensuring that our best practice marketing solutions are supported and effective.
- Learn and share your work in a wide community of data scientists, marketing scientists and analysts.
This role is perfect for an experienced analyst, with existing capabilities like MMM, attribution or advanced optimisation of media plans, that wants to broaden their technical capabilities and progress towards the path of a manager in the regional Data Science team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead in delivering analyses to clients across a variety of solutions, e.g. MMM, attribution, and media plan optimisations.
- Manage project dependencies and deliverables on a day-to-day basis for existing client projects.
- Become an expert on new solutions being developed by the Data Science team.
- Effectively communicate marketing science/data science concepts and the results of analyses to both internal and client teams.
- Attend training sessions, seminars and workshops, and stay abreast of the latest in tracking, measurement, mar-tech and ad-tech space.
- Role model and proponent to junior analysts in the team.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Enjoys being hands-on in analysis, understanding the marketing funnel and how it relates to KPIs and optimisation and planning processes.
- Has keen eye on bringing analysis to life.
- Working experience with R, Eviews, or VBA Excel.
- Good grasp of statistical and optimisation techniques.
- Experience running a project as lead analyst, supporting junior team members.
- Minimum three years in a media agency or an internal marketing analytics team or equivalent.
- Familiar with Google suite of advertising tools.
- Strong presentation skills written and verbal; client and internal facing.
