This position provides exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll accounting, intercompany transactions, cash management, and audit support.
The successful candidate will act as trusted finance partner with cross-functional teams to help ensure accurate financial reporting while contributing to process improvements and maintaining a strong control environment.What You Will Do:Prepare recurring and general month-end journal entries with proper support; ensure accuracy and timely submission within tight close timelines.Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts monthly, maintain audit-ready documentation, and promptly resolve reconciling items.Support with the full month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close process ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness.Analyse general ledger activity to identify unusual transactions, trends, and variances.Prepare accruals, prepaid expense, accrued & deferred revenue, lease accounting and fixed asset entries and related reconciliations.Support with payroll accounting & reporting and related reconciliations, including reconciliation of payroll schedules and related balance sheet accounts.Support intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations, settlements, and billing requests.Support VAT returns activities, including reconciliations ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.Assist with cash postings,
