We are currently looking for experienced electrical professionals to join us within the EV sector across Scotland & the North of England, including Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, and the Leeds/Yorkshire area. We’re hiring for roles focused around EV installation auditing and Technical Assurance Engineering (TAE), with opportunities for either a hybrid position or a dedicated auditing role.

We’re looking for people with strong EV and testing knowledge, excellent attention to detail, solid understanding of current regulations/standards, and the relevant electrical qualifications and industry experience. Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in electrical installations or related discipline, with understanding of EV charging infrastructure and utility network operations.
  • Experience conducting technical audits, inspections, or quality assurance checks in utilities, energy, construction, or similar regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices for EV installations and electrical works.
  • Ability to interpret specifications and method statements, and translate findings into clear written reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and a systematic approach to assessing risk, compliance, and workmanship quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to field teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfort working on-site in varied conditions, with a proactive attitude toward health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.
  • Relevant vocational qualification, apprenticeship, or degree in electrical engineering, utilities, or a similar field; professional certifications in inspection/testing or EV installation are an advantage.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to site as required.
