Salary: £25,000, increasing to £27k following training | OTE: £45,000‑£60,000 per year + company vehicle.
Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours). Start times from 6am.
Locations: Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Plymouth, Brighton, Torquay, Truro.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out enforcement activity, including executing Liability Orders.
- Make in‑person visits, assess circumstances, and secure payments or recover goods.
- Manage a varied caseload, using investigative skills to locate individuals, with a strong focus on persistent evaders and high‑priority cases.
- Lead sensitive conversations—including with vulnerable people—using empathy, professionalism, and calm conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate records, manage payments, and ensure full compliance with regulatory, legal, and operational requirements.
- Work flexibly, including early mornings, some evenings, and occasional weekends, with travel and overnight stays where required.
Experience Required
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and held for at least 12 months.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations.
- Self‑motivated and results‑focused with a motivation to exceed personal targets.
- Able to use sound judgement to reach fair, practical decisions.
- Professional and fair assessment of people and their circumstances, navigate challenging cases and demonstrate empathy as required.
- Good IT skills.
