Would you like to work at a busy global security operations centre?
Based in Stockport you will join a newly established professional control room team at a state-of-the-art control room overseeing a range of systems including CCTV, remote monitoring and alarm systems.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
- Happy to work a mixture of days, nights & weekends on the following fixed pattern: 4 days (Apply online only)), 4 off, 4 nights (Apply online only)), 4 off
- Strong communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Ideally you will hold a SIA license (SG, DS, CP, CCTV etc) but we are open to receiving applications from exceptional candidates who do not hold a SIA license.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring of CCTV systems
- Responding to alarm and intrusion detection alerts
- Remote site monitoring and escalate incidents in line with procedures.
- Contact emergency services when required
- Manage the administration of access control credentials
- Act as the first point of contact for all control room-related communications.
- Handle telephone calls, including emergency and routine enquiries.
- Monitor global travel risk and provide support to travelling employees.
- Monitor world news feeds and emerging global security threats.
- Conduct lone worker welfare check calls.
