Location: Custom House / Royal Victoria Dock, London E16

Hours: 4 on 4 off: 4 days (Apply online only) 4 off, 4 nights (Apply online only) 4 off.

This represents a tremendous opportunity to join the in-house team at one of London’s most iconic venues. You will join a first-class security function where no two days are the same. Applicants must hold a SIA LICENSE and be happy working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends. The role will involve undertaking regular patrols so applicants must have a good level of physical fitness.

You should:

  • Currently hold a valid SIA license
  • Be happy working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering days/nights & weekends
  • Have excellent customer service skills with the ability to be helpful, polite and confident
  • Be conflict management trained and happy using your physical intervention skills when required
  • The position will involve undertaking regular internal and external foot patrols. Patrols are conducted 24/7 and quite often in inclement weather (appropriate PPE is issued to all Officers).

What you will do:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to guests, visitors and staff
  • Undertaking frequent pro-active external and internal patrols.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors in a polite and customer focused manner
  • Incident response and management
  • Conflict management
  • Conduct searching of visitors upon entry to the premises
  • Operation of CCTV and access control systems when required
  • Produce accurate and comprehensive incident reports
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
  • Work in conjunction with site Assignment Instructions
  • Respond to emergency situations
