Salary: Up to £45,000

Location: UK (Home based)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join a high performing fraud function. Applicants must have experience of identifying payroll fraud. The role would suit candidates with strong analytical skills who have experience undertaking payroll analysis and identifying fraud.

The role:

• Data analysis: Examining payroll data to find suspicious patterns, such as duplicate payments, incorrect employee setups, or other discrepancies.
• System monitoring: Using analytical tools to monitor payroll systems for potential fraud, often involving flagging unusual activity.
• Fraud prevention: Designing and implementing strategies, rules, and controls to prevent future fraudulent activities from occurring.
• Investigation: Conducting investigations into suspected cases of payroll fraud to confirm financial losses.
• Reporting: Creating reports and presenting findings to management and making recommendations for policy changes or system improvements.

You will be:

• Experienced payroll analyst with experience identifying fraudulent activity.
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to translate complex fraud insights into clear, actionable recommendations for policy and operations
