This is a tremendous opportunity to lead a state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre. This role will see you manage a dedicated team of control room operators and oversee the delivery of Security Operations Centre services including CCTV, intelligence gathering, investigation and the identification of crime.
If you have strong leadership skills with experience working in a busy multi-functional control room, Security Operations Centre, Police or emergency services control rooms (or similar) then we are keen to hear from you.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- The ability to lead a talented security operations centre team
- A good knowledge of control room/control centre best practice
- Experience conducting investigations
- The ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to create and implement new processes
- A real passion for crime prevention
Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of a busy Security Operations Centre.
- People management to a dedicated control room team
- Operation and administration of SOC systems – CCTV etc.
- Analyse data and trends relating to crime
- Work closely with Police and emergency services
- Process management and improvement
- Incident management and response
- Carry out investigations
- Collation of data and production of in-depth reports
- Manage and mitigate risk across sites
- Maintain the technical security systems in the control room
- Produce regular reports for senior management and stakeholders
