This is a great opportunity for an experienced Retail Fraud Analyst to join a high performing fraud function. Applicants must have experience of identifying EPOS retail fraud. The role would suit candidates with strong analytical skills who have experience undertaking fraud analysis in the retail loss prevention sector. Experience using a loss prevention platform such as Intelliq, Agilence or Appriss would be an advantage.

The role:

  • Data analysis: Examining data to find suspicious patterns, such as chargebacks or other discrepancies.
  • Analysis of EPOS transactions to identify fraudulent activity.
  • Identify suspicious activity related to refunds.
  • System monitoring: Using analytical Loss Prevention tools to monitor systems for potential fraud, often involving flagging unusual activity.
  • Fraud prevention: Designing and implementing strategies, rules, and controls to prevent future fraudulent activities from occurring.
  • Reporting: Creating reports and presenting findings to management and making recommendations for policy changes or system improvements.
  • Identify fraud trends.

You will be:

  • Experienced in investigating retail EPOS fraud.
  • Analytically strong with the ability to identify patterns.
  • Able to translate complex fraud insights into clear, actionable recommendations for policy and operations.
  • Experienced using a loss prevention data mining software such as Intelliq, Agilence or Appriss.
