Operations Manager Location: Crewe, Cheshire Salary: £45,000 Hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. (8am – 7pm) An ambitious security provider is looking to appoint a talented people manager to oversee their delivery of mobile Vehicle patrol services. This is a key role in the effective management of mobile teams and services. You will be integral to the success of this business as you ensure a smooth delivery of services across the region. The role will focus on leading a team responsible for mobile vehicle patrols and alarm response. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Prior experience leading a team Prior security industry experience is not essential if you have experience leading teams in the transport, logistics or similar industry. Strong operational leadership capability Process driven Adept at building relationships with front-line staff Responsibilities: Leadership of a small team Operational planning Vehicle management Planning routes Implementation of processes and procedures Strive to improve service delivery in line with client SLA’s / KPI’s Overseeing the effective Scheduling of staff Forward planning of staff rota’s Ensure a robust process in covering blow outs and staff absences Assist with the recruitment and interviewing of staff Co-ordinate staff inductions and training Collate and administer annual leave requests Respond effectively to additional staffing requests Regularly updating the company scheduling system Respond to situations in a professional manner Attend client meetings Communicate effectively with site managers
