Full Job Description
Momentum Training is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and personable Learner Engagement Officer to join our growing team in Northampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and making a real difference within their local community.
You'll play a key role in promoting our funded training programmes, engaging with potential learners, employers and referral partners, and supporting individuals to access life-changing education and employment opportunities.
Working across Northampton and the wider Northamptonshire area, you'll build relationships with local organisations, attend community engagement events and help learners take their first step towards a new career.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Momentum Training programmes across Northampton and Northamptonshire.
- Generate learner referrals through community engagement, outreach activities and local partnerships.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with Jobcentre Plus, community organisations, employers and referral partners.
- Attend job fairs, recruitment events and community engagement sessions.
- Support learners throughout the enquiry, referral and enrolment process.
- Work closely with internal teams to achieve learner recruitment targets.
- Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Provide regular updates on activity, learner engagement and performance.
Requirements
- Experience within recruitment, employability, sales, learner engagement or a customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident engaging with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
