Location: Lincoln & Lincolnshire Full Job Description Momentum Training is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and personable Learner Engagement & Business Development Officer to join our growing team across Lincoln and Lincolnshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working within their local community and making a genuine difference to people's lives.
You'll play a key role in promoting our government-funded training programmes, engaging with learners, employers and referral partners, while supporting individuals into education, training and sustainable employment.
Working across Lincoln and the wider Lincolnshire area, you'll develop partnerships with local organisations, attend networking and recruitment events, engage with employers and support learners throughout their journey—from initial enquiry through to progression into work.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Momentum Training programmes across Lincoln and Lincolnshire.
- Generate learner referrals through community engagement, outreach activities and local partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Jobcentre Plus, employers, local authorities, community organisations, charities and referral partners.
- Identify and develop new referral opportunities to increase learner recruitment across the region.
- Engage with local employers to understand recruitment needs and promote Momentum learners for employment opportunities.
- Attend job fairs, networking events, recruitment events and community engagement sessions.
- Support learners throughout the enquiry, referral and enrolment process, ensuring an excellent learner experience.
- Assist learners with employability support, including CV guidance and progression opportunities.
- Conduct learner progression calls following course completion and accurately record employment outcomes.
- Work closely with internal teams to achieve learner recruitment, progression and contract performance targets.
- Maintain accurate learner records, CRM systems and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Promote learner success stories and centre activity through social media and marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on business development activity, learner engagement, employer engagement and performance. Requirements
- Experience within recruitment, employability, business development, learner engagement, training or a customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident engaging with learners, employers and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to travel across Lincolnshire.
