The Learner Engagement Officer is responsible for promoting Momentum Training programmes and supporting learners throughout their learning journey. The role focuses on increasing learner enrolments, building strong relationships with referral partners, and ensuring learners remain engaged and supported from enrolment through to completion. The Learner Engagement Officer will work closely with tutors, employers, community organisations, and job centres to help individuals access training and progress into employment.
Responsibilities
- Promote Momentum Training courses through community outreach, presentations, and local events.
- Engage with Job Centres, community groups, charities, and employers to generate learner referrals.
- Provide information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to potential learners about available training opportunities.
- Support the enrolment process and ensure learners are registered correctly onto programmes.
- Work towards learner recruitment and course start targets.
- Act as a key point of contact for learners throughout their training programme.
- Provide encouragement and support to help learners stay motivated and complete their courses.
- Identify barriers to learning and signpost learners to appropriate support services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.
- Attend careers fairs, employability events, and community sessions to promote Momentum Training programmes.
- Identify new partnership opportunities to increase learner referrals.
