About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role will be the backbone of our entire recruitment cycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both our candidates and internal stakeholders.

You will manage recruitment end-to-end for both our London and Boston based roles, working closely with hiring managers and candidates. You will be responsible for all elements of our talent acquisition process, continuously seeking to improve and streamline our processes. You will be responsible for co-ordinating all recruitment activity, from candidate sourcing and pre-screening to onboarding. You will also establish roles that require continuous regeneration of our talent pool, reducing time to hire and conduct regular salary benchmarking exercises to ensure we are in line with market rates and support our salary review process. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the candidate experience and is excited to be part of a growing and high-performing team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Support: Co-ordinating with hiring managers to draft and finalise job descriptions and post job adverts on our ATS (TeamTailor), ensuring roles are advertised accurately and are appealing to prospective candidates. Working with them to understand their needs, truly getting under the skin of their role requirements, coaching on inclusive hiring best practices, including mitigating unconscious bias.
  • Candidate Management: Main point of contact for all candidates and hiring managers for each role. You will co-ordinate all aspects of the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews/tasks/panel discussions and lead stakeholder alignment meetings. You will fully manage communication with candidates providing timely updates and feedback, ensuring a smooth and positive end-to-end experience.
  • Screening: Screen candidate applications and CVs, conduct screening calls and work with hiring teams to determine the right candidates for the role.
  • Talent Pooling: Proactively source potential candidates leveraging tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, professional networks and employee referrals to regenerate diverse talent pools for key roles.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update ATS and recruitment reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance, transferring new starters to our HRIS and briefing the People and Finance Teams on hires.
  • Hiring: Support pre-boarding and onboarding processes, including preparation of offer letters, obtaining RTW documentation, working with managers to select the best candidate, negotiate terms and manage new hire documentation in partnership with the People Team.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement inclusive hiring strategies to attract diverse talent and seek to continuously improve our recruitment processes, systems and ways of working.
  • DE&I: Track and analyse diversity hiring metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with our Marketing and Social Media teams to explore opportunities to improve employer branding including website careers/culture page and promoting/spotlighting our live roles via our company social media platforms.
  • Salary Benchmarking: Conduct regular and timely salary benchmarking reviews, using this data to compare to market rates and feed into our internal salary reviews and compensation framework.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 5+ years’ experience in a talent acquisition role, ideally in a busy environment. Marketing, consultancy or graduate recruitment experience would be an advantage, with a strong focus on diversity recruitment.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and key stakeholders at all levels. Strong stakeholder management skills to drive inclusive hiring initiatives across teams.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HR software. Familiarity with sourcing tools would be a plus.
  • Team Player: A proactive, solutions-focused person who thrives in a collaborative environment and isn’t afraid of getting stuck in and rolling their sleeves up when needed.
  • Passion: Has a priority focus on the candidate experience, driving inclusive hiring initiatives and building strong, diverse teams.

Salary and hours:

  • £45,000 – £60,000 FTE, depending on experience.
  • 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (we are happy to discuss different work patterns in line with the requirements of the role).

Perks and Benefits:

  • Annual leave: 25 days plus 8 Public Holidays (prorated for part-time employees).
  • 3 bonus days off for end-of-year shutdown (25 Dec to 1 January).
  • Discretionary company bonus scheme.
  • Hybrid and flexible working.
  • Home office budget.
  • Personal learning and development budget.
  • Benefits including: Medicash plan, eye care cover, life insurance, health care and much more!
