What Does Your New Role Look Like?
We are looking for a reliable and proactive DIY showroom merchandiser to support the upkeep and presentation of bathroom displays within one of the UK’s leading DIY retailers. This field‑based role is ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a hands‑on approach to maintaining high showroom standards.
As the face of our brand in‑store, you will work closely with showroom teams to ensure displays remain clean, functional, well‑presented, and ready to inspire customers. On a typical day, you’ll visit several stores within your region. We will provide a company vehicle and all the kit you need to deliver outstanding retail merchandising services to our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Sign into store on arrival and introduce yourself to showroom management.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with showroom teams.
- Provide product guidance and support to store colleagues where appropriate.
- Conduct routine inspections of bathroom displays and identify areas requiring attention.
- Carry out internal inspections and fixing of toilets, baths, and display units.
- Check cupboards and drawers for damage, scratches, defects, or customer rubbish.
- Complete minor cleaning tasks and cosmetic repairs to maintain display standards.
- Replace missing or damaged components, including plugs, handles, and shower trim parts.
- Review storage areas behind displays and ensure excess stock and packaging are stored safely and correctly.
- Identify and report display, fixture, and point‑of‑sale (POS) issues.
- Ensure all showroom displays are maintained to a high standard and reflect the quality of the brand.
