Great opportunity to join a successful and established business within the retail sector.
Roles and responsibilities
Your role will be to support the agency team colleagues in delivering all assigned projects on time and to the highest standards across a number of large grocery client accounts. You will work with the store teams to consistently lead by example, providing a safe and legal environment for both colleagues and customers. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of dressing plans/planograms, and support and manage all team members throughout the project, including attendance and productivity. You will maintain regular communication with the Store Management and Project Manager to ensure issues are raised and resolved.
Flexibility is key; hours and days of work will be project-dependent, generally involving 11-hour shifts. Travel and overnight stays may be required.
Additional requirements
A full UK driving license is advantageous as you may need to transport workers in pool cars to store locations, but applications from non-drivers are also considered.
What you need to do
- Understand project scope and objectives from the start
- Coordinate with Store Management before project start
- Manage onsite team, ensuring proper dress, attendance, and break management
- Set out scope of works and communicate to the team
- Maintain health and safety standards, PPE, fire safety
- Deliver projects accurately and efficiently, keeping the area clean and tidy
- Ensure installation of equipment, stock, and advertising as required
- Monitor and report project progress
- Lead and motivate the team, supporting colleagues as needed
- Handle company property with care
- Report performance issues to management
- Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets, reports, and photos
Ideal candidate
- Proficient in IT systems
- Experience with large grocery accounts preferred
- Familiar with warehouse and shop floor procedures
- Knowledge of merchandising, display, and planogram techniques
Additional information
- Hourly rate: up to £13.82 on days and £13.99 on nights, depending on experience
