Roles And ResponsibilitiesYour role will be to support the agency team colleagues in delivering all assigned projects on time and to the highest standards across a number of large grocery client accounts. You will work with the store teams to consistently lead by example, providing a safe and legal environment for both colleagues and customers. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the dressing plans/planograms, and support and manage all team members throughout the project including attendance and productivity. You will maintain regular communication with the Store Management and Project Manager with regards to the project and ensure that any issues are raised and resolved.
Flexibility is key within this role, the hours and days of work will be totally project related and dependent on the client's requirements, however, you would generally be expected to work 11-hour shifts and although we aim to keep the work regionalised, you may be expected to travel and stay away from home. A full UK driving licence is advantageous for this role, you may be required to transport workers in pool cars (hire car) to store location, however we will still consider applications from non-drivers.
What You Need To Do- Understand the project, scope of works and day by day objectives from the start of the project.
- Liaise with Store Management to obtain relevant information in advance of project start date.
- Manage the onsite team ensuring good standard of dress, timely attendance dealing with absence accordingly and oversee all breaks.
- Set out scope of works for project and each shift and communicate to team.
- Maintain Health and Safety of the working areas and team members including all PPE and uniform, fire safety.
- Deliver the project in a timely fashion ensuring accuracy of implementation, clean as you go and tidied.
- Ensure all required equipment, stock and advertising is installed as required to complete each commodity plan.
- Check and manage project progress and communicate progress of project to relevant parties.
- Lead the team by example and maintain team morale and motivate them to maximise productivity, develop and support colleagues where necessary.
- Ensure team treat all company property with care and respect at all times.
- Report back on any performance issues to Account Manager/Retail Support Management Team.
- Ensure full completion of administration, including signing in and out, completion reports, photographs, timesheets and phone reports as required.
- Competent user of IT systems.
- Ideally experienced in working with large Grocery accounts.
- Competent in administration, warehouse and shop floor procedures.
- Knowledgeable of all display and merchandising techniques and to have a full understanding of all methods of planning shelf or fixture layout design (planogram, line drawings etc) and to supervise the implementation of such plans or drawings.
- Knowledge of merchandising and installation processes including systems works.
Hourly rate: Depending on experience we pay up to £13.82ph days and £13.99ph on nights. Weekly Pay. Work is on Temporary basis, this could consist of ongoing projects on days, nights and weekends. Accommodation will be provided on a shared basis. Training will be provided. Be part of our &More recognition award scheme. Be a part of our Team Leader Advancement Training scheme (TLAS). Successful candidates will be issued a temporary 'Terms of Engagement' contract if you are successful and for the avoidance of doubt, these Terms of Engagement shall not give rise to a contract of employment between the Company and the Temporary Worker, or the Client and the Temporary Worker. It is the intention of the parties that the Temporary Worker will not be an employee.
