Retail Merchandiser – Driver

Do you want to work in a retail environment as part of a team? Are you looking for a role that is varied and flexible? We work in major retailers around the county. Transport and accommodation are provided, and you will be part of a team of merchandisers replenishing shelves.

There are no guaranteed hours each week; work is project‑based and may be on weekends. Projects are available from mid‑January. We offer a 13‑week training plan for people with a good work attitude.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required – you must drive yourself and your team colleagues to stores. A hire car is provided.
• Over 21 years old and have been driving for at least two years (for insurance purposes).
• Knowledge of retailing and experience with planograms and merchandising is useful.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and replenish shelves using planograms to set timescales.
• Profile shelving, install equipment and implement displays to a high standard.
• Clean and maintain equipment and perform general housekeeping.
• Lift and manually handle up to 25 kg (male) / 16 kg (female) as required.

Location: Field based – travel and stay away from home.

Working hours: 11‑hour shifts onsite (includes a 60‑minute unpaid break and a 30‑minute paid break).

Work pattern: Nights 8 pm–7 am.

Pay: £12.71 per hour – weekly pay. Drivers who bring two or more passengers per shift can earn an extra 50 p per hour (Driving to Success Scheme).
