- Technically proficient: Able to demonstrate hands‑on familiarity with digital logistics tools, specifically Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Highly Adaptable: with the ability to thrive under operational pressure, solve sudden equipment or stock crises on the fly, and managing fluctuating peak seasonal volumes
- A Proven Leader: Able to demonstrate skills developed working as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Operative within an e-commerce, logistics or manufacturing hub
- Organised: methodical and passionate about delivering great work, right first time
- IT Literate: with strong IT skills – Microsoft Office packages
What Does Your New Role Look Like?
Reporting to the Operations Manager, working as a Senior Team Leader you will take responsibility for overseeing daily packaging operations, managing staff assignments, monitoring line efficiency, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards. You will coordinate workflow to meet production targets, troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct routine training, and maintain precise documentation for inventory. To achieve all of this you will work as part of a team, taking pride in the work that you deliver. We are seeking someone with skills obtained in a warehouse environment who can demonstrate an understanding of warehouse functions and is able to make a difference!
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operational Execution: allocating daily workloads, managing labour resources, and monitoring real‑time productivity to hit tight dispatch and Service Level Agreement (SLA) deadlines
- Team Leadership & Development: conducting shift briefings, onboarding new hires, training staff, and directly managing attendance, performance or conduct issues.
- Inventory & Systems Control: leading stock integrity processes, including cycle counts, audits and handling discrepancy investigations using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Continuous Improvement: identifying workflow bottlenecks and executing process tweaks to maximise throughput.
