Working in major retailers around the county, transport and accommodation provided, with a team of merchandisers to replenish shelves. No guaranteed hours each week. Work is project based and potentially could be over the weekends. We have projects available from mid-January.
A full UK driving licence is essential as you need to drive yourself and your team colleagues to store. We will provide you with a hire car. You will need to be over 21 years old and have been driving for at least two years. This is for insurance purposes. Knowledge of retailing and experience of planograms and merchandising is useful, but we offer a 13 week training plan to applicants with a great work attitude.
Roles and responsibilities of a Retail Merchandiser:
- Merchandise & replenish shelves using planograms to set timescales.
- Profile shelving, install equipment and implement display to a high standard.
- Clean and maintain equipment and general housekeeping.
- Lifting and manual handling up to 25kg (male) 16kg (female) may be involved.
Location: Field Based, travelling and staying away from home
Working Hours: Shifts 11 hours onsite which includes a 60‑minute unpaid break plus a 30‑minute paid break. Work pattern: Nights 8pm – 7am
Pay: £12.71 per hour – Weekly pay.
Driving to Success Scheme: Drivers who take two or more passengers in their car can earn an extra 50p an hour per shift.
Retail Merchandiser Driver’s are provided with:
