Do you want to work in a retail environment as part of a team? Are you looking for a role that is varied and flexible? Working in major retailers around the county, transport and accommodation are provided, with a team of merchandisers to replenish shelves. No guaranteed hours each week. Work is project based and may involve weekends. Projects available from mid‑January.
A full UK driving licence is essential as you need to drive yourself and your team colleagues to store. A hire car will be provided. You must be over 21 years old and have a licence for at least two years (insurance). Knowledge of retailing and experience of planograms and merchandising is useful, but we offer a 13‑week training plan to applicants with a great work attitude.
Roles and responsibilities of a Retail Merchandiser:
- Merchandise and replenish shelves using planograms to set timescales.
- Profile shelving, install equipment and implement displays to a high standard.
- Clean and maintain equipment and general housekeeping.
- Lifting and manual handling up to 25kg (male) and 16kg (female) may be involved.
Location: Field Based – travelling and staying away from home.
Working Hours: Shifts of 11 hours onsite with a 60‑minute unpaid break and a 30‑minute paid break. Work pattern: Nights 8pm - 7am.
Pay: £12.71 per hour – weekly pay.
Driving to Success Scheme: Drivers who take two or more passengers in their car can earn an extra 50p per hour per shift.
