Flexible Retail Merchandising work, in great retailers with one of the best merchandising teams around. Lead a pro team of retail merchandisers in some of the biggest British retail stores.
The day-to-day
You will be leading a merchandising team delivering a variety of projects, on time and to a high standard across a variety of large grocery clients. Leading by example to your team, you will be responsible for their health and safety, as well as ensuring customers and store colleagues are safe. You will ensure all work is done to the project specification by supporting and managing all team members. You will be a point of contact for the Store Manager and Project Manager, ensuring that any issues are raised and resolved. Flexibility is key with this role. The hours and days of work will be totally project related and dependent on the client’s requirements. You would generally be needed to work 11 hour shifts, and whilst we try and keep work within your region, you might need to travel and stay away from home. Training will be given which may require you to buddy a Team Leader or work within a role where you need to gain an understanding of client or discipline depending on your experience.
The nitty gritty
You will be responsible for managing the onsite project which would include:
- Understanding the project, scope of works and day‑by‑day objectives
- Prepping the project by liaising with the Store Manager to ensure it all runs smoothly
- Setting out the scope of work for each day of the project, and make sure everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing
- Checking, managing and communicating project progress to anyone who needs to know
- Making sure work is completed accurately and on time
- Administrating the project including timesheets, photos and reports.
As a team leader, you will need to:
- Manage the onsite team by making sure they are all smartly dressed, on time and get their breaks.
- Be a leader to the team and ensure morale is good by motivating, developing and inspiring.
- Ensure team treat all company property with care and respect.
- Always Maintain Health and Safety standards in working areas.
- Operate on a solution and not problem focused attitude.
What you can expect from us
- Hourly rate: Depending on your experience we can pay up to £13.05ph on day shifts and £13.22ph on night shifts

We need someone who is:
- A confident user of IT systems
- Ideally experienced in working with large grocery clients
- Competent in admin, warehouse and shop floor procedures
- Knowledgeable and experienced in display and merchandising techniques, especially planograms, line drawings and fixture layouts.
Successful candidates will be issued a temporary ‘Terms of Engagement’ contract if you are successful and for the avoidance of doubt, these Terms of Engagement shall not give rise to a contract of employment between the Company and the Temporary Worker, or the Client and the Temporary Worker. It is the intention of the parties that the Temporary Worker will not be an employee.
