Head of Property - Unique UK Hospitality Business Operations Head of Property - Attractive salary package Our client is looking for a Head of Property to take responsibility for the property strategy and physical estate of a distinctive, experience-led hospitality business. The portfolio brings together a variety of hospitality operations where design, atmosphere and guest experience are fundamental to the brand. The challenge is making sure those spaces continue to look brilliant, operate effectively and evolve with the business. This role sits at the intersection of Property, Operations, Design and Brand, balancingcreative ambition with the practical realities of running busy hospitality venues. The Estate: You will take ownership of the day-to-day and longer-term property requirements across a multi-site hospitality portfolio. You will develop a clear property strategy across the estate, creating structure around maintenance, refurbishments, compliance, lifecycle planning and property standards. You will also be visible, On site, talking to operational teams, understanding issues first-hand and making sure property decisions genuinely support the people running the venues. Building strong relationships between multiple parties is a very important part of the role. You will work closely with landlords, developers, contractors, suppliers, consultants and specialist partners across the portfolio. Internally, you will partner with Operations, Finance, Brand, Creative and senior leadership. You will need to be comfortable challenging where necessary, finding pragmatic solutions and bringing together people with very different priorities. You will create a proactive approach to property management with the aim to tackle issues head on. That includes planned and reactive maintenance, regular property reviews, compliance, building control, licensing requirements and the ongoing programme of works required to protect the quality of the estate. You will establish clear systems, standards and accountability while making sure processes remain practical for busy operational teams. The Ideal profile: - Possess significant property or projects experience within hospitality, restaurants, bars, leisure or another design-led, customer-facing environment. - A strong knowledge of both buildings and operations with the understanding that the best decisions are made with the guest and operational teams firmly in mind. Past and present experience: Property and estate management. Refurbishment and improvement projects. Planned and reactive maintenance. Landlord relationships. Contractor and supplier management. Design coordination. Planning, licensing and building control. Budgets and cost management. Property compliance and risk. Multi-site hospitality operations.
