The Opportunity: As Head Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest culinary standards while providing operational support across a diverse portfolio of locations nationwide.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will bring energy, creativity, and expertise to every kitchen you support, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire kitchen teams across multiple UK locations
Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
Develop innovative and commercially successful menus
Drive food cost control, labour efficiencies, and kitchen profitability
Support new openings, relaunches, and business-critical projects
Coach, mentor, and develop chefs at all levels
Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and health & safety standards
Work collaboratively with operational leaders to deliver outstanding guest experiences
Introduce new ideas, techniques, and best practices across the business
Act as a culinary ambassador for the organisation
About You: We are looking for an experienced Head Chef with strong leadership credentials and a passion for excellence.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience as a Head Chef within premium restaurants, hotels, events, contract catering, or hospitality operations
Strong culinary creativity and passion for quality ingredients
Excellent people management and leadership skills
Experience managing kitchen budgets, food costs, and labour controls
Ability to adapt quickly to different teams, locations, and operational challenges
Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
A hands-on approach with a positive and motivating leadership style
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively nationwide
