This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract in our Beauty and Personal Care team. The successful candidate will provide support with personal care formulations. Under the supervision of the Field Marketing Engineers, you will assist in developing new products to demonstrate the company’s product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of samples of personal care formulations supporting customer meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and other events.
  • Preparation of documents and support with shipments of raw materials and finished formulations to customers in Europe and other regions.
  • Under Field Marketing Engineers supervision, development of new formulations demonstrating the performance benefits of Momentive’s product portfolio.
  • Carry out experiments to support the ADE to answer customer technical challenges.
  • Preparation of reports on product evaluation.
  • Maintain and promote a safe laboratory environment in accordance with applicable quality standards.
  • Maintain the raw materials and formulations database.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Science.
  • 0-3 years of laboratory experience with an emphasis in a personal care product development and/or technical service role.
  • Familiarity with the use and application of common raw materials used in the industry.
  • Self‑motivated individual with high level of creativity, technical curiosity, and strong team spirit.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cosmetic Science or related chemistry discipline.
  • Demonstrable skills in formulation.
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise and handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate results clearly and precisely and document conclusions and recommendations.
  • Relevant technical work experience.
