Location: London
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (DOE) plus a welcome bonus of £2,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent (52 weeks) or Summer Contract (50 weeks, 5 weeks off in the summer break plus 22 days holiday)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people's speech and language needs for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly
- Provide training and upskilling to key adults to support therapy goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Deliver specialist speech and language services primarily in school settings, with some clinic and remote work
Essential Criteria:
- BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience providing professional and clinical supervision
- Specialist experience with the relevant client group in comparable settings
- Strong experience in developing training programs
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with EHCPs and speech and language therapy provision in schools
- Experience with complex behaviours and paediatric social, emotional and mental health needs
- Experience completing assessments for EHCPs
- Specialist CPD and/or training experience
- Trauma‑informed care experience
Requirements and Checks:
- Fully enhanced DBS check required.
- HCPC registration must be maintained.
