Purpose of the role:
The Humanitarian Project Manager will manage and support the delivery of mOm’s projects and partnership activities in the humanitarian and global health sectors. Working closely with NGOs, humanitarian agencies, funders and implementation partners, the role will ensure projects are planned, executed, and monitored effectively, delivering measurable impact for newborns.
This role acts as a central point of coordination across external international stakeholders, logistics providers and internal teams. The role is ideal for someone with experience in the humanitarian or global health sector who is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple projects and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management and support of humanitarian projects involving the implementation of mOm incubators across low-resource and emergency settings
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines, risk registers and action trackers to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress against agreed deliverables and deadlines
- Identify and escalate project risks and issues, proposing practical solutions to maintain project schedules
- Preparation of reports, donor updates and success stories for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse project data and lessons learned to support continuous improvement
- Act as point of contact for NGOs, humanitarian agencies, and other implementation partners
- Work closely with mOm operations and manufacturing teams to ensure timely deployment of mOm resources into projects
- Assist in the identification of new partners and opportunities within the humanitarian and global health sectors
Essential Requirements:
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Experience managing or coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across multiple countries or regions
- Experience working with or for NGOs, humanitarian agencies, global health organizations and/or healthcare providers
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities, both internal and external.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
Desirable:
- Experience managing donor-funded or grant-funded international programmes
- Experience with monitoring, evaluation and learning activities
- Experience coordinating international logistics or humanitarian supply chains
- Additional language skills
