THE ROLE
This is a senior, client-facing role at the heart of how MOLT delivers. As our Learning Design Lead, you turn client capability challenges into structured, effective learning programmes and lead them through to delivery. You'll work directly with senior stakeholders, design engaging learning experiences using MOLT's AI-powered workflow, and lead the production team through to final delivery. You own client relationships independently, maintain our quality bar across every output, and drive commercial growth by spotting where we can do more work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learning Design
- Lead curriculum design projects from brief through to structured, outcome-led delivery
- Create curriculums, modules, and lesson plans using MOLT’s AI-powered workflow
- Validate and refine AI-generated content to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with client goals
- Design learning that drives real capability and behaviour change
- Own client relationships throughout the full project lifecycle
- Run discovery sessions and workshops to understand goals, audience, and business context
- Manage stakeholder alignment and sign-off across each delivery stage
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple accounts
- Lead internal production teams from project kickoff through to final delivery
- Provide direction, accountability, and support to junior team members
- Review outputs, maintain quality standards, and resolve issues early
- Ensure final deliverables remain true to the original design intent
- Grow existing client accounts by identifying further opportunities to add value
- Support proposals, pitch decks, and client presentations, represent MOLT credibly in commercial conversations
- Contribute to the growth of a fast-moving business in an exciting market

- AI & tools: You’re confident using AI tools such as Claude and OpenAI, and are strong across Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
Desirable
- Background in management consulting, professional services, or L&D consultancy
- Experience in learning design or training across in-person, blended, or digital formats
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
- Hands-on involvement in proposals, pitches, or client presentations
- Familiarity with e-learning production platforms or processes (e.g. Synthesia) and a strong interest in how AI is reshaping learning design and content production

LOCATION AND TRAVEL
This role is based in our Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire office and is primarily office-based, with flexibility where business needs allow. Travel is a regular part of the role, including client workshops and meetings across the UK and occasionally further afield. We plan travel collaboratively and all reasonable expenses are covered. We’re looking for someone who enjoys the client-facing nature of the role and sees travel as part of the opportunity.
