Role Description
This part-time Health & Safety Consultant – Agriculture role is an on-site position based in Sleaford. The consultant will work directly with agricultural clients to assess workplace risks, review existing health and safety practices, and develop practical improvement plans. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site inspections, preparing risk assessments, and advising on compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards. The role involves delivering training sessions, toolbox talks, and guidance materials to workers and managers, as well as supporting incident investigations and recommending preventive measures. The consultant will collaborate with client teams, maintain accurate documentation, and provide clear reports and recommendations that align with Molstan Ltd’s consultancy approach.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices in agricultural and related environments.
- Other relevant health and safety certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Ability to design and deliver effective training sessions, workshops, and toolbox talks for diverse audiences.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations in operational settings.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements.
- Familiarity with agricultural machinery, processes, and regulatory requirements is highly beneficial.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
