About the role:
Working alongside the Line Lead and Maintenance Lead, the Process Lead has shared responsibility for the performance of an area, working in close collaboration with Shift Managers. Through building technical understanding of the line/area they should develop a clear understanding of the critical line and process performance drivers. The Process Lead is expected to develop the operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control through data collection and loss analysis.
- Responsible for identifying through loss tree, the top 3 stops/losses, root causes or quality losses during the Daily Direction Setting (DDS) cycle, reviews changeovers, and sets a winning plan to ensure actions are completed and losses resolved.
- Analyses line data to identify and prioritise loss elimination opportunities through DDS and 90 day plan cycles.
- Conducts root cause analysis on top stops, centrelines and changeovers.
- Uses advanced problem solving tools, for example, Unified Problem Solving, including 6W2H.
- Is able to quickly build technical understanding of loss across the Line(s) they are assigned.
- Trains and coaches others on problem solving tools & techniques, changeovers & centreline execution.
- Takes ownership of the Centreline Management System for the department, including all data analysis, management of targets and documents standards, and the training and coaching of others on site to build capability in Centreline and Changeover DMS execution, loss tree analysis and problem solving skills.
- Is able to build technical mastery across the line to which they are assigned and drive the line optimisation approach for that line, understanding critical process and line parameters required to ensure line performance remains optimal.

- Experience of World Class Supply Chain tools and techniques, specifically understanding and experience of problem solving tools and methodologies and changeover time reduction.
