Your Purpose

We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based at our Burton Head Office two days per week. In this role, you’ll partner with the Senior Finance Business Partner and play a key part in shaping decisions within a fast-paced sales environment. Your financial expertise will help us analyse scenarios, forecast outcomes, and uncover trends that drive real value for the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Relationship Building: Develop strong partnerships with sales teams by providing essential analysis and support for the business.
  • Forecast Management: Lead and manage forecast cycles, understand key drivers, and confidently challenge stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Directors and their teams to add value and resolve queries promptly.
  • Month-End Activities: Perform detailed P&L analysis to explain closing positions and assess risks and opportunities.
  • Trusted Advisor: Serve as a key advisor within the finance function, contributing ideas for continuous improvement and driving positive change.

About You:

  • Qualified accountant with qualified experience.
  • Clear and considered communicator, skilled at simplifying complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in business partnering.
  • Adept at challenging assumptions and influencing at all levels, with a strong track record of explaining business case outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to add value to a business, whether through financial gains or process improvements.
