Your Purpose
We’re currently recruiting for a Brewing Manager to join our Burton Brewery Leadership Team and take full ownership of the brewing process across site. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving performance, optimising efficiency, quality, and innovation in brewing operations, while fostering a high-performing team culture aligned with our World Class Supply Chain (WCSC 2.0) methodology. The role holder is required to work in accordance with all safety & environmental legislation and maintain the standards for food/feed safety, legality, authenticity and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the brewing team to safely optimise efficiency and performance using WCSC 2.0 principles, contributing to world class standards of operation. Set clear objectives, drive continuous improvement, and lead change management initiatives.
- Develop and manage brewing strategy, budgets, and capital plans to meet long-term goals aligned with site and Molson Coors strategy.
- Build a winning brewing team culture by role modelling our values, coaching, and developing talent. Create long-term capability and succession plans.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g. EH&S, ISO, HACCP).
- Maintain and improve brewing assets using computerised maintenance systems to meet efficiency and quality targets.
- Actively contribute to the site Leadership Pillar and lead cross-functional teams to progress WCSC 2.0 deployment. Builds effective partnerships across the brewery and wider supply chain network, ensuring effective alignment and collaboration.
About You
You’re a confident and capable leader with a passion for brewing excellence and operational performance. You bring a strong foundation in brewing science, backed by an IBD Diploma in Brewing or equivalent, and a proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
- Proven experience in brewery management, with a deep understanding of brewing operations, process optimisation, and the ability to lead change and build long-term team capability.
- Senior leadership capability with a track record of inspiring teams and driving results.
- Experience working within a World Class Supply Chain or equivalent management system.
- Financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets, capital plans, and strategic priorities.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- IBD Diploma in Brewing or equivalent.
- Certifications including IOSH Managing Safely and HACCP Level 3, ensuring a commitment to safety and quality standards.
- A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
