About the role: Reporting to the Distribution Director, this is a pivotal role to drive the growth of the Intermediary Sales proposition and build further positive brand awareness. Working to and achieving agreed Business Targets, whilst setting standards for Intermediary business across your defined region.
Duties:
- Manage established Intermediaries and develop new relationships, specifically within a defined region with specialist Broker focus.
- Educating Intermediaries in how to use Molo Platform to best effect.
- You will be expected to operate across all levels with Intermediary Partners.
- Giving guidance to Intermediaries regarding the suitability of potential Mortgage business.
- Maintaining an up to date Account database of Intermediaries and recording activity.
- Attending and participating in Conferences/Exhibitions to promote Molo Products and Services.
- Being the 'face of Molo' to Intermediaries liaising with Customer Services and Underwriting Team to provide smooth case progression.
- Working with Intermediaries, Customer Services and Underwriting Teams to help secure improved quality of Mortgage submissions from Intermediaries.
- Conduct meetings with Intermediaries and delivering Presentations to promote Molo proposition.
- Travel within region, sometimes across the UK and on occasion, overnight stays.
Your skills and experience:
- Working experience preferred as Business Development Manager within the Intermediary Specialist Lending sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Intermediary Market Place, specifically in the Buy to Let and Specialist Lending Sectors.
- Successful track record of achieving and exceeding Key Business Objectives and Targets.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude, highly motivated with good communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of mortgage competitors' products and activity would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of B2B relationship management methodologies.
- Good understanding of the mortgage process and regulation that may impact the business.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software applications.
- Covering an agreed defined region in London/South East England that can be flexed to accommodate the right candidate.
