As Medical Affairs Director – Chronic & Prevention, you will act as the key medical and scientific link between the global medical community and Mölnlycke’s chronic patient journey. You will shape how evidence, clinical insight, and real‑world practice translate into meaningful patient outcomes, while influencing strategy at a global level.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Serve as the medical and scientific authority within chronic wound care, with deep expertise in clinical practice and evidence interpretation.
  • Drive global evidence generation strategies aligned with both clinical needs and commercial objectives.
  • Lead close cross‑functional collaboration across Medical Affairs, Commercial, R&D, and Market Access teams to support value‑based patient outcomes.
  • Ensure all clinical and post‑market evidence activities are grounded in best clinical practice, scientific literature, and appropriate governance standards.
  • Guide publication strategies to maximize the quality, credibility, and impact of clinical data.
  • Provide medical leadership in clinical study design and execution, Market Access and Evidence Planning (MAEPs) across the product lifecycle, and post‑market clinical data generation, including observational studies and real‑world evidence.
  • Maintain medical governance, compliance, and patient safety oversight for Mölnlycke‑sponsored investigations in line with regulatory and GCP expectations.
  • Act as a credible external expert, engaging with healthcare professionals and scientific stakeholders globally, including participation in international forums and presentations.
  • Provide medical input into claims, evidence positioning, and business development opportunities to ensure scientific accuracy and credibility.

What You Bring

Must‑haves

  • Clinical background (e.g. MD, RN, or equivalent registered Health Care Professional).
  • Experience in medical affairs, ideally within wound care.
  • Strong clinical expertise in chronic wound management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across senior stakeholders.
  • Strong scientific and analytical capability.
  • Strong understanding of research processes from conception to dissemination.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and ability to connect clinical work to business impact.
