What the Role Involves

In Wound Care at Mölnlycke, we help to prevent, manage and accelerate the healing of wounds. The Global Market Development Manager will:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in a defined care setting, channel, or strategic theme.
  • Lead discovery of new routes to market beyond traditional healthcare channels (including mass retail, pharmacy, e‑commerce and emerging consumer‑health models).
  • Develop future‑ready commercial and pricing models suited to OTC and retail environments, balancing accessibility, value perception, and sustainable margin across geographies.
  • Translate unmet consumer, shopper, and retailer pain points into a forward‑looking innovation agenda, identifying opportunities for new categories, propositions, and formats.
  • Prioritise initiatives using a fail‑fast, test‑and‑learn approach with cross‑functional teams.
  • Collaborate across Global Marketing to align strategy and translate priorities into a balanced portfolio roadmap.
  • Generate and share insights on macro trends, channel shifts, and competitors to inform strategic planning.
