Together we provide an end-to-end solution to our clients, including dailies and DIT services, VFX, offline services, full creative post production, QC, mastering, foley, sound design, field records, casting, ADR, voice over, performance capture and localisation.

We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Software Developer to join our team in a new and unique role focused on innovation and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for a recent MA graduate or early-career technologist with strong academic grounding in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and modern software development techniques. The role will work across Film, TV, Games, and Ads to turn small problems into creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, scope, and deliver innovative software solutions to improve operational workflows and business processes.
  • Use a combination of AI/ML, scripting, and traditional development methods to build prototypes and production-ready tools.
  • Conduct internal discovery across business units to identify pain points and areas for efficiency gains.
  • Build lightweight applications, automations, or scripts that reduce manual work and enable smarter decision-making.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party tools or APIs where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across departments, while maintaining autonomy and ownership over your projects.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI, ML, automation, and low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Document solutions and provide basic training/support to end users.

What will you bring?

  • Portfolio with two or three small tools or prototypes.
  • Strong Python or JavaScript.
  • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
  • You enjoy interviews and workshops and can explain ideas in plain language.
  • You set your own milestones and keep to them.
  • Curiosity and a bias to ship/launch internally.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • MA (or MSc) in Computer Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional with a portfolio of innovative or academic projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
  • Exposure to or experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Understanding of API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Interest in RPA (Robotic Process Automation), data analytics, or low-code/no-code tools a bonus.
