As a Sales Account Manager at Molex, you drive targeted growth in the North region by building strategic, profitable customer relationships in Datacom and related markets.

You work with cross-functional teams to align roadmaps and develop plans that convert opportunities into revenue.

You explore new customer development opportunities with an entrepreneurial mindset and contribute to the company’s data connectivity leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture high-impact customer relationships with proactive engagement
  • Identify and test new customer development opportunities in Datacom and related markets
  • Provide consultative interconnect solutions addressing customer needs
  • Align BU and customer technology roadmaps to long-term requirements
  • Develop strategic growth plans (Playbooks) to meet profitability and pipeline goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate support from multiple units
  • Monitor industry and competitor trends to inform marketing intelligence
  • Pursue new revenue opportunities across datacom segments (Cooling, Power Infrastructure, Rack, Supercomputing & AI)
  • Key requirements
  • Extensive years in business development or sales within datacom or data centre markets
  • Strong network within OEMs or infrastructure providers
  • Experience selling technical products (Connectors, Cabling, Fibre, Networking Hardware)
  • Proven track record of winning complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Degree in electrical/ mechanical engineering/ industrial engineering or related field
  • Passion for sales and marketing with a proven demand creation in Datacom
  • Strategic planner with willingness to experiment
