What You Will Do

  • Drive Design-In Opportunities: Create specification-led opportunities by engaging engineering, architecture, and product teams early in the design cycle, positioning Molex power and connectivity solutions before specifications are finalised.
  • Grow Strategic Infrastructure Accounts: Develop and execute growth strategies with rack manufacturers, cooling solution providers, power infrastructure suppliers, and datacentre OEMs.
  • Develop Power, Cooling & Rack Opportunities: Identify new opportunities across power distribution, busbar systems, liquid cooling, CDU architectures, thermal management, and high-density rack infrastructure and the connectivity solutions that enable them.
  • Influence Future Datacentre Architectures: Align Molex solutions with customer roadmaps supporting AI, HPC and next-generation datacentre deployments.
  • Build Ecosystem Relationships: Develop relationships with technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders across the datacentre infrastructure value chain.
  • Deliver Market Insight: Identify emerging trends in rack power density, liquid cooling adoption, AI infrastructure, and datacentre architecture to support future growth strategies.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • You have extensive years of business development, technical sales or account management experience within datacentre critical power, cooling or infrastructure markets.
  • You possess strong technical understanding of datacentre power architectures, liquid cooling technologies and rack-level infrastructure.
  • You have a proven track record of securing specification wins and influencing technical decision-makers in complex sales environments.
  • You have established relationships within OEMs, cooling providers, power equipment suppliers, rack manufacturers, or adjacent datacentre infrastructure markets.
  • You can identify, qualify, and convert complex multi-stakeholder opportunities into sustainable long-term growth.
  • You are comfortable engaging engineers, architects, product managers, and executive stakeholders, translating technical requirements into business value.

  • Proven experience creating and winning design-in opportunities.
  • Experience with connectors, cable assemblies, fibre optics, high-speed copper and power interconnect solutions.
  • Strong understanding of how decisions are made within rack, cooling and power infrastructure platforms.
