The Key Account Manager, reporting to the UK Country Manager, is responsible for managing strategic clients, building strong long-term relationships with them, guiding business operations, defining and implementing joint business plans with top clients, in order to ensure company results, in terms of sales and profitability.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring strategic relationships with a portfolio of major clients through joint business plans implementation and constant KPIs monitoring.
- Developing and maintaining long term solid relationships with a portfolio of strategic clients through networking activities, meetings, visits, presentations, etc.
- Ensuring a regular presence also through store visits.
- Updating & analysing sales performance (sell-out database report) and building action plans following result analysis.
- Ensuring the right service level for top clients, being an interface between the client and the company for problem solving.
- Ensuring back-office activities.
- Migrating and managing Non-EDI customers in a new digital order tool.
- Analysing the market and ensuring sales and profitability.
- Performing market research and strategic analysis to identify strategic clients among the existing ones or new ones.
- Contributing to the sales planning process and to the target definition for each top client and for each area (sales & profitability) with the Country Manager.
- Defining and implementing the commercial strategy for each top client/area.
- Regularly monitoring and reporting on results (sales & profitability).
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience as Sales Account preferably in Fast Moving or fashion field.
- Extensive customer service experience.
- Analytical and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Excel is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Fluent in English or mother tongue; a second language is a plus.
