Outstanding opportunity for a skilled process operator to join Molecular Products Ltd, a world leader in the design and manufacture of life critical devices for the treatment of breathable gases. The role of CO2 Process Operator is to produce quality soda lime products by maintaining maximum efficiency to meet and exceed customer demands.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • To undertake all duties regarding and to contribute to the company’s Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Protection policies, procedures and standards of performance for the company to fully meet its statutory obligations.
  • To fully and co-operatively participate as a member of the production team in meeting the production targets set for the team in line with the production plan in order that customer needs are efficiently and economically met.
  • To work in any of the production department areas when requested by your Lead Operator to increase your job knowledge, skills and flexibility.
  • To record all required data in line with company procedures.
  • To complete general maintenance of the plant and equipment, follow cleaning schedules, 5S and good manufacturing procedures.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Be prepared to accept and capable of assimilating training to a level of competence, specific job-related tasks. These competencies are to be examined and signed off by qualified on site trainers.
  • To prove knowledge and experience by being signed off as capable and knowledgeable on the work instructions of the department.
  • To continuously strive to work through the grading structure through ongoing training exercises.
  • Basic levels of dexterity with preferably some experience of assembly and light engineering work in an industrial environment.
  • Forklift certificate desirable but not essential (training can be provided).
  • To be familiar with manual handling.
  • To have worked in manufacturing (preferably chemical industry).
  • Accuracy in data recording.

  • Ensure the achievement of target Soda Lime yield through effective process control and operational discipline.
  • Deliver planned production levels in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

Working Hours:

This position follows a 4-on/4-off rotating shift pattern, covering both days and nights: Day shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm Night Shift: 6:00pm – 6:00am. Working hours run from Monday through to Sunday, alternating between day and night rotations. Employees work four consecutive shifts, followed by four days off.

Salary: £26,204.00 + Plus shift allowance

Holiday entitlement, Healthcare, Pension.
