The European Service Admin Manager is responsible for managing the Europe Service Backoffice Team as well as providing hands‑on support when needed. This position reports to the Director of European Service and is part of the Europe Service team located in Winnersh, UK and will be an on‑site role.
In This Role, You Will Have the Opportunity To:
- Involvement in and managing the workload within the Backoffice Team, with initial emphasis on the Service Administration area, but with a strong focus on aligning and streamlining areas of synergy with Order Management.
- Collaborating with Sales and Service Departments to facilitate the day‑to‑day Service Backoffice operation(s) as well as resolving escalated internal and external customer cases.
- Actively identifying gaps in daily processes, leading and implementing continuous improvement activities within the Service Backoffice Team and when required involvement in ad hoc system updates and (company‑wide) projects.
- Work on the problem funnel to improve Service Backoffice’s day‑to‑day operation.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:
- Proven experience in supervising a customer‑facing team, utilizing customer service quality metrics to enhance business performance and customer relationships as well as experience of managing projects.
- A broad knowledge of the sales and post sales processes, including experience of dealing with customer complaints through to issue resolution.
- A track record of identifying processes to improve as well as experience of leading their implementation.
- Strong communication skills to support varied internal and external customers.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience working in an international environment (Europe/US).
- Understanding the sales process from quotations to shipment.
- The job language is English, but an additional European language would be highly beneficial.
