Warehouse / Yard Assistant in Worksop

We’re looking for a practical and customer-focused Warehouse / Yard Assistant to join our team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help keep our feedstore and yard organised, safe, and ready for customers. Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 30 Hours per week 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis

About The Role

As Warehouse / Yard Assistant, you’ll play a key role in managing stock, supporting operational standards, and ensuring customers receive excellent service. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe environment and make sure every interaction reflects our values: customer first, innovative, knowledgeable, honest, committed, and courageous.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with goods inwards, stock rotation, and accurate processing of deliveries
• Maintaining integrity of stock records and ensuring correct selling of items
• Keeping feedstore and yard areas organised and compliant with company standards
• Delivering friendly, solution-focused service to all customers
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures

About You

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a practical, hands‑on retail setting
• Experience in manual handling and safe lifting practices
• Experience working in an agricultural or feedstore environment
• Forklift Truck licence (desirable)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible team player committed to success
