We’re looking for a friendly, hands-on Yard Team Member to join our team at Witheridge. About The Role
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Full-time
- Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working Monday to Friday
As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in keeping the yard running smoothly. From helping customers and handling stock to keeping the site tidy and safe, your work will make a real difference to the day-to-day experience of our members and customers. You’ll work closely with the Site Foreman and store team and be part of a business that’s proud to support British agriculture.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and offering helpful, solution-focused support
- Handling counter duties confidently and efficiently
- Building product knowledge, especially in your assigned categories
- Supporting stock handling, deliveries, and seasonal adjustments
- Helping resolve out-of-stock issues with a proactive approach
- Keeping the yard clean, safe, and well-organised
- Following health & safety, UFAS, and other compliance procedures
- Pitching in with other tasks and contributing to a positive team environment
About You
- Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail setting
- Familiarity with agricultural or countryside environments is a plus
- A forklift truck licence would be an advantage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Comfortable using IT systems and managing multiple tasks
- Friendly, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Committed to delivering high standards and great service
