About The Role:

As an Operations Team Member, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the store, helping to maintain stock accuracy, product availability, and compliance standards. You’ll work closely with the wider team to ensure the store is well-presented, safe, and ready to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing stock checks, gap scans, and replenishment picklists accurately and on time
- Receiving deliveries and investigating any discrepancies in orders or invoices
- Maintaining stock file integrity and supporting inventory accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and legal standards (e.g. NOPS, FIAS, HACCP)
- Supporting banking processes and reviewing daily reports for anomalies
- Replenishing shop and yard areas to company standards
- Supporting promotional activity and visual merchandising plans
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the site
About You:
- Previous experience in retail or operational roles
- Good IT skills and confidence using business systems
- Health & safety awareness and attention to detail
- A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- AMTRA, BASIS, or knowledge of FIAS/UFAS/NOPS (desirable)
- NVQ or equivalent in retail (desirable)
