About The Role

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Full‑time
  • Hours of Work: 47.5 Hours per week, working Monday to Friday

As a Production Operative, you’ll be central to the day‑to‑day running of our feed mill operations. You’ll help ensure products are manufactured, packed, and dispatched safely and efficiently, while maintaining compliance with company standards and industry regulations. This is a fantastic entry point into the business, with clear progression opportunities. Key responsibilities

  • Operating mill equipment and process systems safely and efficiently
  • Managing weighbridge procedures and quality control
  • Operating bagging and packing systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Monitoring stock levels and supporting stock control
  • Loading vehicles and serving customers with accuracy and care
  • Supporting compliance audits and following medicated procedures
  • Maintaining clean and tidy work areas and reporting equipment issues
  • Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets

About you

  • Experience in a production, manufacturing, or agricultural environment
  • Basic mechanical understanding and ability to operate machinery
