We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Team Member, working on the tills. About The Role
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time
Hours of Work: 6 Hours per week, working every other Saturday and Sunday
As a Customer Experience Team Member, you’ll be at the heart of our store — working on the tills, helping customers find the right products, offering expert advice, and creating a welcoming environment. You’ll work closely with your team to deliver a high-quality retail experience, support sales targets, and ensure every customer leaves with a positive impression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering friendly, knowledgeable, and solution-focused service
- Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs
- Promoting current offers and recommending suitable products
- Supporting the delivery of sales targets and store KPIs
- Handling customer queries and taking ownership of follow-up
- Demonstrating strong product knowledge across all departments
- Promoting our membership scheme and processing transactions accurately
- Maintaining high standards of store presentation and stock awareness
- Following health and safety procedures and safe working practices
About You
- A genuine interest in customer service and retail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards
- Confident, approachable, and self-motivated, with a flexible and team-oriented attitude.
- Experience in customer-facing roles is a bonus, but not essential, we’re happy to support your development.
